Key West
Key West area is a vast area with large flats and open water areas adjacent to a large area of ocean flats. LargeTarpon ( 100lbs. plus) use this area like a highway when migrating through the keys. Smaller resident tarpon (20-60lbs.) are also hear in certain areas all year long. Some of the best Permit and bonefish flats are a nearby in shallower water. Barracudas, Jacks, and Sharks, Snappers are also readily available.
Marquesas Keys
The Marquesas is a remote circle shapped, uninhabited island 22 miles from Key west. It is a remote pristine area we venture out to on good weather days that can provide great fishing opportunities for Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Sharks, Barracudas, Jacks, Snappers. some of the wrecks around this area can also hold Cobia, nice size Snappers species, and large Barracudas.
Sugarloaf Key
Sugarloaf Key area is one of the closest places to access the Gulf side back country area. This area includes mangrove islands, pristine sand, coral, and grass flats, channels, and basins This is a very diverse area for fishing and visuals. There are many species here to target including Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Sharks, Barracudas, Redfish, and several species of Jacks and Snappers. Whether you want to catch dinner or target the prestigious and highly coveted grand slam (Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish in one day), this is a great area to do it all!
Cudjoe Key
Cudjoe Key area is the middle ground in that we have quick access to it all, the back country flats and mangroves, the ocean side flats for large migratory tarpon, and quick access to several bridges for various species.
Summerland Key
This area is also and area that can provide quick access to the ocean side flats or the back country areas, and bridges.
Big Pine Key
Big Pine Key area is different from some of the other areas in that it has larger, wider deep channels, long bridges, vast ocean side flats, and large sea grass basin areas. Bahia Honda Key and Bridge are here and provide some of the keys best Large Migratory Tarpon fishing in the keys. The gulf edge flats in this area are amazing and can provide some of the best angling opportunites for sight fishing, flyfishing or spin fishing for Permit and Bonefish. This area is also a nursery for many of species of fish that we fish for.
Marathon Key (and 7 Mile Bridge Area)
Marathon and the 7 mile bridge areas provide quick access to abundant bridge fishing opportunities for many species of fish. Some of the flats in this area are good for Permit and Bonefish, as well as Large Tarpon and Barracudas. If you like fishing around bridges this area is as good as it gets.
