The Tarpon have been rolling early mornings and have been willing to take surface flies. The cudas and shark are ever present on the flats and we have had some chasers and takers on fast moving presentations. As for the permit we have seen them schooled up roaming the gulf side and a few on the flats in various locations. This is the time of year that they are getting ready to spawn on offshore wrecks. We ran into a few on the flats and have had some shots at them but none to the boat. Good Tarpon fishing will continue as the months progress.
